Astronomy Software

http://live.pirillo.com/ - Sometimes it's a pain to view the stars in the night sky - especially if you live in a big city, where pollution is a big problem, but there's software which lets you not only view the night sky, but much more.

Stellarium is a free open source planetarium for your computer. It shows a realistic sky in 3D, just like what you see with the naked eye, binoculars or a telescope. It is being used in planetarium projectors. Just set your coordinates and go.

It's a damn cool piece of software, it's free, and it's open source. What could be better?
